Installation
The installation process is as simple as copying a file from your computer to your FPGA-powered GBC via standard USB-C cable:
- On your computer, download the
.ziparchive for the firmware version you wish to install - Open the
.zipfile and view the contents, note the file namedupdate.bin - Switch the console on with no game inserted
- Plug the console into your computer using any USB-C cable
- Find the drive named
FUNNY_PLAY_and open it - From the
.ziparchive, copy theupdate.binfile over to theFUNNY_PLAY_drive- File must be named
update.bin, renaming will cause the update to fail
- File must be named
- The console will automatically update and reboot
- You may now disconnect or switch off the console - throw in a game and get playing!
